A stock portfolio is a term that refers to one of the types of investment portfolios, which means that an individual owns his own securities, and when these securities are stocks, the investment portfolio is a stock portfolio, and every investor can create a stock portfolio or a comprehensive investment portfolio for all securities, the value of which is expected to increase in the future.

Creating an investment stock portfolio means that a person or an institution buys securities represented by preferred stocks and common stocks, and then keeps them until their value increases in the future, and the goal of this is to reduce the potential risks in investment, as well as diversify financial assets to achieve diversity in investment.

The idea of ����a stock portfolio dates back to the sixties of the last century, where the idea of ����an investment portfolio emerged as a means of achieving financial goals and earning profits in the long term, until investment portfolios became an integral part of any economy in any country, and investment in a stock portfolio is divided into two main types, which are:

Strategic investment: It depends on buying stocks available for trading that have good growth opportunities. And keep them for long periods while benefiting from their annual returns.

Tactical investment: This involves buying and selling stocks in the short term with the aim of making profits from price differences between buying and selling operations.
