Almarai Shares Almarai Company The company was founded in 1977 by Irish agricultural pioneers Paddy McGuckian, Alistair McGuckian and Prince Sultan bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Kabeer. It is a Saudi joint stock company that produces and distributes agriculture, livestock and food within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States. Almarai began production operations in 1977 under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Mohammed Al Kabeer, who has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company since its inception. It was listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange under the symbol 2280.
